With his powerful 1950’s growl, old school rockabilly sound and wild mane of hair, Bodhi Corbett conjures up the bygone California days of Dave & Phil Alvin’s The Blasters.

Growing up in Burbank, California in a musical family, Bodhi began playing harmonica and guitar at the age of eight. He naturally found his roots in Americana and Rock n’ Roll while sitting in at jams with his parents and their friends. He honed his talents and was soon impressing some of LA’s most famous musicians, including Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench, who played on his first EP.

Bodhi’s newest release, Evelyn (2023), features Jay Bellerose (Robert Plant & Alison Krause, Rhiannon Giddens) on drums, Jonathan Flaugher (Andra Day, Peter Case) on bass, Brett Farkas (Rhianna, Aimee Mann) on guitar, Phil Krohnengold (Sara Bareilles, Milk Carton Kids) on keys, and Erica Canales (The Killers) on background vocals.
Produced by Jonathan Flaugher and executive produced by Nicky Corbett, Evelyn’s 10 original tracks showcase Bodhi’s knack for weaving musical influences from the past into modern songwriting.

Bodhi and his band, The Igniters, have brought their high octane brand of American Music to ‘Rock This Town Rock and Roll Weekender’ in Solothurn, Switzerland alongside some of the biggest names in Rockabilly, including Darrel Higham and the Enforcers and Head Cat, Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats) and Danny B. Harvey (The Rockats, Wanda Jackson). They’ve also played ‘Hot Rod Rock and Rumble’ at Pikes Peak International Raceway in Colorado Springs and ‘Viva Las Vegas’, the largest Rockabilly event in the world.
